Covid 19 – Response by CFI Academy

To all CFI Academy clients and prospective CFI Applicants
During this time of uncertainty, we remain open and 100% available for all Aviation Operations.

CFI Academy has been deemed an “Essential Critical Infrastructure Provider” and our employees ‘TIER 1 Essential Critical Infrastructure Workers’ by the US Department of Homeland Security. The guidance identifies workers in certain critical infrastructures and industries that have a special responsibility to maintain a normal work schedule.

“On matters relating to national critical infrastructure protection and resilience, Airlines for America (A4A), as manager of the Aviation Sector Coordinating Council (ASCC) established pursuant to the National Infrastructure Protection Plan (NIPP), works in partnership with the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) and its components, including the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA), Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA), and the Transportation Security Administration (TSA), as well as the Department of Transportation (DOT) and Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) , on preparedness for timely and effective protective and crisis response measures.

Per the United States Department of Homeland Security, the Aviation Transportation Sector has been classified as Critical Infrastructure under 42 U.S.C. § 5195c(e). See CFI Academy provides critical air transportation services within the Aviation Transportation Sector, including the movement of passengers, commodities and goods necessary for the safety, security and well-being of individuals around this region.”

This means that regardless of ‘Shelter in place’ and other ‘Stay home’ orders, CFI Academy and its employees will continue to be here for you.

Our facilities are fully compliant with CDC guidelines for fighting the spread of COVID-19 and our Air Operations are conducted with the utmost care for our clients’ & employees’ health & safety.
